KTMtwins Supports Team Rally Pan America at Dakar 2007

(+ zoom)

Dakar is happening right now, and KTMtwins is supporting Team Rally Pan America. We met Jonah Street last year at a 950 Adventure Adventure shakedown with Superplush Suspension, and we came away determined to give Jonah the shirt off our back if he needed it.

After 3 stages, he was in 4th overall. Unfortunately an “electrical problem” (MotoGP excuse) during Stage 4 ended his Dakar. Best of luck to teammate Casey McCoy who was 34th after Stage 5, and to Charlie, Niles, Sid, and the rest of TRPA.

New Products at KTMtwins

Ron has been busy sourcing the quality products like the Zip-Ty Chain Adjuster Block Kit and Galfer Wave Rotors, and assembling our in-house “ktt”-kits. We’ve already sold quite a few of the new Water Pump Rebuild Kits. Changed your Clutch lately?

How about a Passenger Peg Kit for your Super Enduro R?

Online Microfiche Ordering

We have also started to roll out our OEM Microfiche section, starting with the 950 Adventure.

Now Offering Fedex Shipping

You may have heard that UPS has gone to dimensional weight for ground shipping when the dimensional weight calculation exceeds the actual weight. This finally forced us into adding Fedex to our Shipping Options.

Fedex will really help our International customers, as the UPS International charges are generally, absolutely outrageous.

Live in the Bay Area? Select “In-Store Pickup”, and drop by the shop.

New Models

The 990 Superduke is finally due in the US in February 2007. And the long-rumored RC8 is finally being acknowledged by KTM in an official capacity. 2008? 2009?

Service Check

KTM USA has their Service Check feature back up on their site.

Godspeed to Dakar competitor Elmer Symons.

That’s all for now. Ride Safe. See you on our next Adventure.
